Backnang – Brand auf Stoppelfeld

Am Samstag gegen 17:32 Uhr wurde der Polizei ein brennendes Stoppelfeld zwischen Steinbach und Dresselhof gemeldet. Ausgelöst wurde das Feuer durch einen technischen Defekt an einem Mähdrescher. Der Mähdrescher hatte zuvor noch das Feld abgeerntet. Hierbei rieben zwei Metallteile des Mähdreschers aneinander, welcher daraufhin so heiß wurden, dass sie das ausgeworfene Stroh in Brand setzten. Der Mähdrescher wurde hierbei nicht beschädigt, allerdings brannten ca. 5000 qm des Feldes, weswegen die Feuerwehren von Backnang und Steinbach mit 6 Fahrzeugen und 35 Mann im Löscheinsatz waren.
