Backnang: Brand eines Balkon

Aus bislang ungeklärter Ursache geriet kurz vor Mitternacht von Samstag auf Sonntag ein im Erdgeschoss befindlicher Balkon eines Mehrfamilienhauses im Seehofweg in Brand. Durch die Hitzeentwicklung wurde auch die Balkontüre und ein darüberliegendes Fenster im Obergeschoss beschädigt. Der Brand konnte durch die Feuerwehr Backnang gelöscht werden. Verletzt wurde niemand. Der Sachschaden dürfte nach einer ersten Schätzung bei ca. 5.000 Euro liegen. Möglicherweise wurde der Schwelbrand unterhalb des Balkons durch eine weggeworfene Zigarettenkippe ausgelöst. Zur Klärung der genauen Ursache sind noch weitere Ermittlungen erforderlich.
