Backnang: Brand eines Mehrfamilienhauses

Am Dienstagabend, gegen 21:25 Uhr, kam es zum Brand eines Mehrfamilienhauses in der Hamburger Straße in Backnang. Beim Eintreffen der Rettungskräfte und der Polizei drang massiver Rauch aus dem Hauseingang. Augenscheinlich brach der Brand in einer Kellerwohnung aus. Dort kam es zur Explosion des Akkus eines Staubsaugers. Durch die Feuerwehr Backnang, welche mit insgesamt 7 Fahrzeugen und 28 Einsatzkräften vor Ort war, konnte der Brand gelöscht werden. Die Bewohner konnten durch die Feuerwehr aus dem Gebäude geborgen und dem Rettungsdienst übergeben werden. Der Sachschaden beläuft sich auf zirka 300.000 Euro.
