Auf einem Feld in der Erbstetter Straße fing am Mittwochnachmittag gegen 15.30 Uhr ein Traktor mit einer Ballenpresse infolge eines Defekts Feuer, welches großflächig auf das Weizenfeld übergriff. Die Feuerwehren aus Backnang und Leutenbach waren zur Brandbekämpfung im Einsatz. Verletzt wurde bei dem Vorfall niemand.Ein weiterer Traktor hatte gegen 14.45 Uhr in der Friedhofstraße in Neufürstenhütte Feuer gefangen. Der Traktorfahrer konnte anhalten und unverletzt die brennende Maschine verlassen. Es entstand ca. 8000 Euro Sachschaden. Die Feuerwehr von Großerlach war mit vier Fahrzeugen und 15 Einsatzkräften beim Löscheinsatz tätig.
