Am Freitag gegen 23:45 Uhr wollten zwei offenbar alkoholisierte Männer die Bahngleise etwa auf Höhe vom Freibad Geradstetten überqueren. Während es der vorausgehende Mann unbeschadet schaffte, verblieb der ihm nachfolgende 28-Jährige zu lange im Gleiskörper und wurde von einem durchfahrenden Zug erfasst. Der 28-Jährige wurde durch den Unfall tödlich verletzt. Die Bahnstrecke war bis 02:00 Uhr gesperrt. Die Kriminalpolizei hat die Ermittlungen zum Unfallhergang aufgenommen.
