Weil der Stadt: Getreidefeld fängt Feuer

Am Donnerstag gegen 15:45 Uhr kam es auf einem abgeernteten Getreidefeld südlich der Kreisstraße 1014 zwischen Merklingen und Malmsheim zu einem Brand. Die Flammen dehnten sich auf einer Fläche von rund 500 Quadratmetern aus. Durch einen Landwirt konnte das Feuer eingedämmt und durch die Freiwillige Feuerwehr Weil der Stadt mit drei Fahrzeugen und 16 Kräften gelöscht werden. Vermutlich ist der Brandausbruch auf die enorme Hitze zurückzuführen. Sachschaden entstand nicht.
